COMMERCIAL INTERIOR OFFICE FIT OUT PROGRESS - LILY COMMS PROJECT UPDATE
The business phone systems and communications solutions provider Lily Comms are on the move from Bradford and are in the need of an office fit out at their new premises in Leeds.
This has been a long process for Lily Comms, one which stretches back to 2016 when they initially contacted us to create a design spec for a different building. However when that fell through, they identified their new premises in Leeds and invited us in once again to create a design layout and quote for the works.
One of the concerns of the client was the possibility of noise transfer through the walls, so we ensured that this was taken into consideration in the design. Therefore we specified double glazed partitions and sound proofing within the solid walls.
The fit out project involves the creation of a number of new rooms through the installation of 10ml seamless glazed partitioning and solid walls. We are creating a brand new canteen, director’s office, storeroom, server room, reception area, two manager offices, a boardroom and a second meeting room.
We are also creating two kitchen spaces through the replacement of the existing kitchen units on the ground floor and the installation of brand new kitchen units on the first floor. The position of the existing air conditioning units also need reconfiguring to make way for the brand new partitions going in.
This week on site, the plastering will be completed and a surveyor will be visiting the premises to survey for the glazed partitions. The plumbing for the kitchens will also be implemented and the kitchen units on the ground floor will be installed.
The client moves in the week commencing the 20th November and we will be looking to film a video case study once they are all moved in and settled, so look out for that here and on our Youtube channel.
If your business is looking to move and the potential new premises you are looking at require a fit out to your requirements, we can help. Contact us today to arrange a site survey and discussion about your requirements.
