From disrepair
to a workplace

An office fit-out in Leeds that reached far beyond the office.

Audio-Technica needed a building that could bring its people, products and operations together. The starting point was a property in disrepair. The ambition was a coherent, finished environment: professional offices, specialist audio spaces and a warehouse ready for the demands of the business.

Nexus brought together office fit-out and refurbishment, office mezzanine floors and warehouse fit-out in one coordinated project. We took responsibility for bringing those moving parts together. From the preparation beneath the new finishes to the mezzanine structure, building services and final parking lines outside, we coordinated the transformation as one complete project.

Warehouse lighting, floor painting, pallet racking, operational floor markings and coordinated warehouse works.

New mezzanine floor with offices, access and guarding; associated fire protection, partitions and ceilings.

Acoustically constructed listening and demonstration rooms, sound booths, specialist ventilation and fitted repair and kitting spaces.

Open-plan offices, glazed partitions, meeting rooms, flooring, decoration, feature finishes and Audio-Technica branding.
