Our specialist mezzanine process
Making mezzanine floor projects easier for our clients since 2009

Your mezzanine project requires a dedicated team of experienced designers, project managers and installers. We created Nexsteps™ to take your mezzanine project to the next level. It’s a fully tried and tested process developed on over 100 projects during the last decade. Our expert team have stringent checks at each stage to ensure we’re delivering your mezzanine project to the highest and safest standards.

The first part of any successful project is an accurate survey. One of our expert designers will visit your premises, discuss your requirements in detail and conduct a site survey.

Every project is different, so depending on your needs, our experts could spend anywhere from an hour to a full day measuring your space. But don’t worry, we won’t disturb your business operations.

Our goal is to design and build a workspace that seamlessly blend’s in with your current warehouse layout and enhances your business’ workflow. By carrying out an accurate survey in the initial stages, we can achieve that.

All our site surveys are free of charge and with no obligation on your part.

Once we’ve taken a brief from you, we’ll design your new mezzanine floor facilities. Combining your requirements and our expert knowledge to create the right solution for you.

We will create concept drawing layouts of your new workspace and depending on your requirements we will also produce 3D visualisations too, allowing you to see exactly what your new premises will look like on completion.

We consider every relevant building regulation when designing your new mezzanine floor facilities and because we work closely with an approved building inspector, you can be assured that your new mezzanine floor will meet all the requirements.

We also have vast experience with acting as the Principal Designer on the majority of our projects, allowing you to relax, knowing that your project is in the right hands.

Once your concept drawings are agreed upon, we’ll create a detailed proposal for your mezzanine project. Here at Nexus we believe that transparency is key, that’s why we itemise each and every aspect of your project within our quotations.

This allows you to understand exactly what you are paying for and assure you that you are receiving a fair price for the works specified.

Because we offer a full turn-key solution from design through to implementation, you only have yo work with one contractor throughout the whole project. This means you don’t have to negotiate and chase quotes from multiple contractors, potentially delaying your project. We offer you one quotation and one price for your entire project.

On confirmation of your order, we will appoint a dedicated project co-ordinator to your project who will create a full set of working drawings and a comprehensive programme of works. This will outline every step involved within the construction of your mezzanine floor project and when each of them will commence and be completed.

Once you sign off the working drawings, we will introduce you to your dedicated Project Manager who will be your one point of call throughout the project. They will hold a pre-start meeting with you to discuss your upcoming project and share with you all the relevant health and safety information. Their role is to guide you through the entire build stage of your project.

From the first day on site to the last, our aim is to implement the build of your mezzanine floor solution in a safe and efficient manner, whilst minimising the disruption to your business’ operations.

We will adhere to stringent building regulations and health and safety requirements whilst constructing your mezzanine floor. The health and safety of everyone involved is of utmost importance and at the forefront of everything we do.

Your Project Manager will ensure that the build runs smoothly and will hold regular progress meetings with you, to keep you in the loop at all times.

On completion of your project, we will accompany you on a full site walk to ensure that you are pleased with the final product. We will also present you with your O&M manuals, your health and safety file and all your warranties.
