At Nexus Workspace, we recently completed a challenging project in Burnley, Lancashire, where our client sought to maximize the unused space above their existing ground floor WC block. The company approached us to investigate the feasibility of installing a mezzanine floor to fully utilize this wasted area.

The primary challenge was to design and construct a mezzanine floor that could accommodate two office spaces for 10 people, a meeting space, and a breakout area for eight people. The project required careful planning and coordination to ensure the successful integration of various elements, including partitions, joinery works, kitchens, doors, floor coverings, suspended ceilings, electrics, ventilation, plumbing, and air conditioning.
