Nexus is back in Burscough where we previously implemented an office mezzanine floor fit out for the chartered accountants Kirkwood Wilson. One of the directors at Kirkwood Wilson, David Wilson also purchased two other warehouses at the same time and had always intended to invite us back in to quote for their fit out needs.

One of the warehouses is to be occupied by the media company KW Digital, whilst the other warehouse is available to be leased. For KW Digital we are implementing another office mezzanine floor solution similar to the one we implemented for Kirkwood Wilson.

The new office facilities for Kirkwood Wilson will include an open plan office for eight employees, a meeting room for 16 employees, an individual office, reception area and WC & canteen facilities all below the mezzanine floor.

Whilst on top we are creating an open plan office for 16 employees, a breakout area with tea facilities and three individual offices.

The warehouse was completely empty before we moved in to implement the new office facilities, so we are building everything from scratch. The project involves the installation of all partitioning, electrical, plumbing, lighting and ceiling requirements.

In the other warehouse unit we are installing a small storage mezzanine floor with WC and canteen facilities underneath. This leaves a large open space for the new occupants to use for their business’ requirements whenever they move in.

The great thing about mezzanine floors is that they are a versatile solution. So if the new client requires office space or more storage space, we’d be more than happy to come back in and design a new mezzanine floor to adjoin to the current one.

As for the current project, there is only four weeks remaining so it won’t be long before KW Digital have a new home. If your business is looking to move premises, we’d be happy to design and implement your new workspace for you. Get in touch today either via email or a phone call and we’ll arrange to come out to you, conduct a site survey and discuss your requirements for the new space.
