It’s not long now until the bespoke yarns manufacturers Laxtons, get to move into their new state of the art facility. We are in the process of fitting out their brand new warehouse premises on the Baildon Business Park.

As with many warehouse premises these days, it’s sold as an empty shell, so the responsibility lay with the new occupants to source a fit out expert to create their new interiors. That’s where we came in.

This week, construction started on the jumbo walls on top of the mezzanine floor. These jumbo walls create the shell for the new office facilities. We will also be installing some glazing panels to allow some natural light into the offices, once all the jumbo walls are up.

This week Laxtons began moving their machinery into the warehouse, now that the electrics to power them have all been installed. We have also created the shell for the WC facilities through the installation of partitioning on the ground floor and our plumbers have started work on site.

We are in regular contact with Laxtons managing Director James Laxton. Walking him through each stage of the project and he is often visiting site to check on progress. He can’t wait to move in and begin taking Laxtons to the next level.

They will soon be able to serve more customers, allowing them to continue their already impressive growth. One of the factors contributing towards their growth, is their decision to invest in manufacturing in Britain, which in turn cuts shipping costs and also reduces lead times, making them an attractive choice for their clients.

You can visit their website here, if you are looking to potentially utilise their services in the future. Keep an eye out on our Youtube channel and website for future project updates and case studies for all our upcoming projects.
